    • Quickest stock 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang record set with 10.66@132.96 pass

This record will be topped and then topped again as temps drop and drag racing season gets going in negative DA (density altitude). What you see here though is what the new GT500 is capable of in factory trim and considering the curb weight, balance, and rear wheel drive layout the change to a DCT transmission is working wonders.

Not only is a 1.727 60 foot on factory rubber nothing to sneeze at this was done in Texas so not a 'fast' east coast strip:

It will be interesting to see just how quick and fast the stock cars go. A 10.4 maybe? 135+ miles per hour maybe?

Ford did a great job with the transmission software and traction control.

Skip to the 11-minute mark to see the pass.

This kids reaction is epic. Itís how all true boost addicts and speed freaks feel inside, even if just for a moment, regardless if they admit it or not.

I'm wondering how low it will go with drag radials stock.
