    • 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 hits the dragstrip - 10.6@133 1/4 mile stock

We told you this thing would be a beast. Congrats to Ford for delivering the fastest, quickest, and most powerful Mustang to ever leave the factory. Not to mention the massive change in including a dual clutch transmission which is reflected in the elapsed time.

      As tested by HotRod.com:

133.21 stock on factory tires is not bad at all. The DA was 975 feet. What was our guess? ~135 traps. We have a feeling at ATCO on drag radials we will see 135+ out of the car based on these numbers.

They also tested it in Vegas but these numbers just to go show Vegas costs you 3/10's and 3 mph and that is when it isn't even hot out:

      DA matters. A LOT!

So will bolt on examples do 150+? You bet they will. It is going to be fun to see just what they will eventually hit on the factory blower.

The reviews on how it drives on the track are gushing about it. Even comparing it to the GT2RS.

Pump gas, factory tires, factory launch settings. Great way to release the car to the press. I want to see some road course times too.

Motor trend is drooling over this car. Says the track package turns it into a bona fide supercar killer.

Could an E85 Tune, Drag Radials, and customized launch settings get a tune-only 9 sec pass?

It would take a 1.5X 60 foot to get cose. It is within the realm of possibility.
