    • The 2019 Ford Ranger tows 7500 pounds from its 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque 2.3 liter Ecoboost

We finally have the specs for the 2019 Ford Ranger motor and its towing capacity. Ford pegged output at a modest 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This is enough to give the Ford Ranger best in class gasoline towing of 7500 pounds.

The truck starts at $25,395 and is a heck of a bargain. Considering what tuners are getting out of the 2.3 liter Ecoboost there is also plenty of tuning room on the platform.

400+ horsepower Ford Rangers running around should be a fairly common occurrence once the aftermarket gets their hands on this truck.

The 2019 Ranger hits dealerships early next year.
